SIRIOS Creates DIOS, a Diamond Exploration Company
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA–It is with great enthousiasm that
officers of SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. reveal that their new mining
exploration company shall be looking for diamonds. The 33 CARATS
property is a new diamond project from SIRIOS where some one
thousand mining claims (some 50,560 hectares) are actually pending
from the Ministere de l’Energie et des Ressources du Quebec. It
is expected that mining rights shall be issued very shortly.
These claims are directly adjacent to the Quebec Ashton-Soquem
property where a drilling discovery of kimberlitic rocks was
released last week (Ashton Mining of Canada inc. 09/21/2001 Press
Release). Furthermore,

1) The new company created by SIRIOS shall carry out its
business under the name of DIOS EXPLORATION INC. instead of
Khalkos Exploration inc. (July, 24 and June, 20 press
releases)
2) SIRIOS shall transfer the Ontario SCHOLFIELD and Quebec
WEMINDJI, 33 CARATS properties as well as its TRANS-TAIGA
Quebec regional data base to DIOS for 2,629,627 Common
Shares of DIOS and a royalty, half of which can be bought
back for $500,000.
3) Through reduction of its stated capital, SIRIOS shall
distribute to its shareholders 1,972,220 Common Shares of
DIOS following their pro rata holding of SIRIOS’ Common
Shares.
4) DIOS EXPLORATION INC. shall be engaged in diamond
exploration whereas SIRIOS shall pursue its base and
precious metals exploration activities.
5) DIOS will follow up with public financing and application
for exchange listing.

This project is subject to the approval of all regulatory
authorities and will be submitted to Shareholders’approval at the
Annual and Special Shareholders’ Meeting to be held on October, 30
2001. The creation of this diamond exploration company will
enable SIRIOS to focus on base and precious metals exploration
while Shareholders will continue to benefit from diamond
discoveries. SIRIOS has had success finding diamond indicator
mineral trains in Ontario (Scholfield).
One of the most active mining exploration companies in Quebec,
SIRIOS is a very dynamic junior recently granted the Prospector of
the Year award for Quebec. Some 20,492,474 Common Shares are
issued and outstanding, trading on the Bourse de Montréal inc.
under SOI and, from October 1, 2001 and thereafter, on CDNX.
